Held each October at the spectacular Moorland Farm in Far Hills, NJ, some of the world's finest steeplechasers compete for purses of $500,000. This world-class event also generates camaraderie and excitement for individuals and families, race enthusiasts, organizations and corporations alike.

Since the 1950s, the event has raised more than $17 million for the medical center through Somerset Medical Center Foundation, profoundly impacting the medical center's growth and ability to offer comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical services to Central New Jersey residents.

This partnership has resulted in numerous improvements to the medical center, including its patient-friendly and attractive lobby, parking deck, mobile intensive care unit, enhancements to the cardiac catheterization laboratory and construction of a state-of-the-art maternity pavilion.

This year's event is sponsored by the Open Road Auto Group, which has generously donated the car for our annual raffle.

For more information on the races, visit the Far Hills Race Meeting Association website or call 908-685-2929.

Driving while under the influence (DUI) laws will be strictly enforced at this event.
