2012 Employee Giving Campaign Sets New Fundraising Record

The 2012 Employee Giving Campaign, which was aligned with the Steeplechase Distance Run/Walk, raised more than $54,000. The amount raised was 35 percent more than last year and set a new record for employee annual appeal fundraising.
In addition, 13 employees created fundraising teams and solicited friends and family to support the medical center. Prizes were given to the top three employee fundraisers: Nancy Reger, director of Rehabilitation Services, who raised $3,610; Sharon Raab, RN, of Infection Prevention, who raised $2,575 and Vicky Allen, vice president of Marketing, Public Relations and Community Services, who raised $2,550.
Thank you to the many employees who contributed to the campaign!

On March 3, 2012, Jen Irving led the inaugural Broomball Tournament, which generated more than $1,200 for Somerset Medical Center! Perhaps most importantly, the event created an environment whereby Somerset Medical Center colleagues from various departments shared a few laughs, engaged in spirited competition, and forged new friendships.
