A social worker is available at The Steeplechase Cancer Center to address the psychosocial needs of patients and their families.

Social work services include short-term supportive counseling and one-on-one instruction for anxiety and stress management, referrals for long-term psychotherapy and assistance with linkages to community, health care and financial resources, support groups and complementary medicine services.
