Somerset Medical Center Hosts Health Night at the Somerset Patriots Game On July 25

Step up to the plate and take charge of your health. Before the Somerset Patriots take on the Newark Bears on Wednesday, July 25, Somerset Medical Center will hold a health fair at Commerce Bank Ballpark, beginning at 5 p.m.
�Somerset Medical Center�s Health Night With the Patriots� will feature information on a variety of health topics and the medical center�s comprehensive health care services, including the Breast Care Center, Sleep Center, Ryan White Clinic, Eating Disorders Unit and cardiology, oncology and maternity services. Members of the medical center�s professional staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
The medical center�s EMS vehicle will also be available for children to tour and there will be raffles and giveaways throughout the evening. In addition, Dennis C. Miller, president and chief executive officer of Somerset Medical Center, will throw out the game�s first pitch.
�Somerset Medical Center is proud to partner with the Somerset Patriots to promote the good health of people throughout our community,� said Phyllis Kumpf, director of community health at Somerset Medical Center. �We hope that by coming to the ballpark, we can make it easier for people to get the information they need to be proactive about their health care.�
In addition to collaborating with the Somerset Patriots for the health fair, Somerset Medical Center provides the team�s sports medicine services. Lawrence Ferraro, M.D., a family practitioner at Somerset Medical Center, is the team�s physician, and Paul Kolody, MS, AT, C, a certified BACKtoGOLF� instructor at Somerset Medical Center, is the team�s athletic trainer.
