Job Description
Performs assigned duties under the direct supervision of the licensed therapists. Prepares patients for treatment by the therapist in a nature to free the therapist for full-time attention to professional duties. The Rehab Aide is accountable for ensuring they provide ongoing physical support for the Rehabilitation Department and therapist to allow for maximum patient care by treating therapist.
Job Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills. General computer knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. High school graduate or GED required. Special 'related' courses helpful. Successful completion of the Physical Therapy Orientation. Courses in exercise science beneficialExperience: Nurses/physical therapy aide, PT or OT student, PT or OT volunteer experience preferred.
Must be CPR certified. Must be able to multi-task. Some evening and weekends requiredHeavy lifting requirements.
