Our sports performance services help athletes of all ages and abilities maintain a competitive edge, prevent injuries, develop proper sports techniques and improve strength, power, acceleration, agility, balance and posture. Services include:

Our Sports Performance Program , featuring group training sessions that motivate athletes to achieve their fitness goals.

• Running gait analysis, which uses dual digital video cameras to provide a frame-by-frame analysis of an athlete running on a treadmill to improve efficiency and speed and reduce the risk of injury.
• Massage therapy, including reflexology and Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, hot stone and chair massages
• The National Athletic Testing Program (NATP) for high school athletes, which identifies strengths and weaknesses. 
• Individualized training
• The Firefighter/Law Enforcement Fitness Program, helping volunteer firefighters and police officers stay in top form to serve their communities.
• Wellness programs, including 
  • osteoporosis exercise program 
  • diabetes exercise program
  • post-rehabilitation step-down exercise program
  • cardiac rehabilitation for patients with a history of heart disease
  • exercise program for people recovering from bariatric surgery 
    
• A full range of rehabilitative services to build strength, increase mobility and prevent future injury. Injured members of the Somerset Patriots complete their rehabilitation at the center.

In addition to its sports performance services, Somerset Medical Center offers a full range of rehabilitation services at the medical center. 

Getting Started
